One thing that the NFL world has been talking a lot about this week is the recent roast of Tom Brady. The roast aired for the first time earlier this week, and Brady certainly took a lot of jabs. He was laughing the whole time and it looked like he was having a good time, but there were obviously a lot of personal things that were said. Jason Kelce and Travis Kelce talked about the roast on their podcast, and Jason doesn't understand why people agree to do them in the first place.

Jason Kelce has a point. It certainly doesn't sound enjoyable to sit somewhere for two hours while people take turns roasting you, but it is definitely entertaining. The roast of Tom Brady was definitely an entertaining one, and he handled it well.

Still, Jason doesn't understand why people agree to do them. Here is the exchange he had with Travis during an episode of New Heights.

Jason Kelce: I really don't f**king get it. I don't get why people do roasts, I don't get why they're a thing. Haha, haha, yeah my family's ruined it's so funny everyone's laughing it's great yeah we're all having fun right. …It was pure entertainment and I’m really happy they did it, but I just do not get the roasts, I do not understand why people do them.

Travis Kelce: Because it’s comedy.

Jason Kelce: Maybe I take myself too seriously. …If I was picking who to roast me, I would pick people that like I would have no problem getting into a fist fight with, like family members, like you know dad, roast me, but I’m going to beat the f—k out of dad when the camera turns off.

Jason Kelce: I get when it’s like your friends and like close people but like when it’s just like random celebrities up there.

Travis Kelce: Nikki Glazer’s f**king hilarious, if I did a roast you’d have to get Nikki up there.

Well, don't expect to see Jason Kelce do a roast anytime soon, but maybe Travis Kelce would do one. A lot of people would watch that, and it sounds like Nikki Glazer would be there, too.

Jason and Travis also discussed their teams roasting them

For Tom Brady and many different celebrity roasts that happen, the people that are doing the roasting are typically other random celebrities. Brady definitely doesn't have a close relationship with all of them. Travis Kelce and Jason Kelce talked about their teams roasting them, and that would definitely be an interesting way to go about it.

Jason Kelce: Which teammates would be good at roasting. Lane Johnson would be great at it, I bet (Darius) Slay would probably be good at roasting. I don’t know why but I feel like he’s got that moxy to him. I don’t know who else, I feel like Andy (Reid) would be good at roasting.

Travis Kelce: I don’t think Andy would take it there though, you know what I mean.

Jason Kelce: He would say something hilarious, but it wouldn’t be that offensive.

Travis Kelce: It wouldn’t pierce your soul like 90% of the jokes last night.

Maybe Jason would participate in a roast if it happened from his teammates.

Tom Brady was a good sport during his roast, but who knows how it really feels to be up there for one of those.
