Indie game developer Dvora Studio and publisher Headup Game announced a partnership to release a Korean horror game, THE COMA 2B: CATACOMB, this year.

This collaboration serves as a prequel to the indie studio’s previous hit, The Coma 2: Vicious Sisters. The Coma 2B acts as a vital bridge between The Coma and The Coma 2, offering players a deeper insight into the eerie world of “The Coma.” With its immersive storyline and spine-chilling gameplay, The Coma 2B promises to captivate players as they journey through the darkness, uncovering secrets and facing unimaginable horrors along the way.

Sometime this year, The Coma 2B: Catacomb is set to be released on PC via Steam. However, as of this writing, there are still no announcement regarding the release dates for console.

The Coma 2B: Catacomb Story

Youngho has finally escaped the terrifying mirror dimension called “The Coma” and is back at school, enjoying his life. But…?

Embark on Youngho’s thrilling second adventure as he sets out to escape the hands of the Vicious Sisters. Determined to break free, Youngho collects the pages of Yaesol’s notes in search of a legendary relic sword rumored to be their key to victory. However, his quest takes an unexpected turn when he stumbles upon a vast underground facility hidden beneath Dokaebi Market.

As if that wasn’t enough, a mysterious intruder breaches the mirror dimension, and a new ally with connections to Yaesol emerges to aid Youngho in his mission. Can Youngho overcome these challenges and defeat the Vicious Sister once and for all?

The Coma 2B: Catacomb Gameplay

In The Coma 2B: Catacomb, players step into a scary world where danger hides everywhere. As the main character, Youngho, players have to walk through dangerous halls and dodge scary enemies while figuring out the mysteries hidden in “The Coma’s” deep, dark places. Armed only with a flashlight, players have to find things to help them survive dangerous moments and problems while exploring the creepy district of Sehwa.

With smarter enemies that make the game tougher, every choice the player makes is really important to stay alive. While playing, players can trade things in Dokaebi Market to get ready for really tough situations and unlock tools to go to new places. With vibrant hand-illustrated visuals and comic strips creating an immersive world of horror and exploration, The Coma 2B: Catacomb promises to deliver a spine-tingling experience unlike any other.
