The Milwaukee Bucks have staved off elimination and will meet the Indiana Pacers for Game 6 on Thursday at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse. We're here to share our NBA odds series, make a Bucks-Pacers Game 6 prediction, and pick while showing you how to watch.

The Bucks defeated the Pacers 115-92 to force Game 6, as the series shifts to Indiana. Remarkably, they persevered despite not having the services of Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf injury) and Damian Lillard (chilies).

The Pacers led 31-23 after the first quarter. However, the Bucks had a great second quarter. They exploded in the third quarter to help put some distance between them and the Pacers. Significantly, Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis both had 29 points each. Malik Beasley added 18 points. Likewise, Patrick Beverley had 13 points, while Brook Lopez finished with 12.

Tyrese Haliburton had 16 points to lead the Pacers. Meanwhile, Myles Turner had 13 points. Pascal Siakam and Andrew Nembhard each had 12 points for the Pacers.

The Bucks shot 52.4 percent from the floor, including 37.9 percent from the triples. Conversely, the Pacers shot only 44.4 percent from the floor, including 31.6 percent from the three-point line. The Bucks also shot 80 percent from the free-throw line, while the Pacers shot 61.5 percent from the charity stripe. Furthermore, the Bucks won the board battle 44-36 while also stealing the ball eight times, which led to 12 Indiana turnovers.

Why The Bucks Could Cover The Spread/Win

The Bucks have not had an easy series. Yet somehow, they have won two games despite not having Antetokounmpo's services. Many believed they would fall in Game 5 with Lillard also out. Regardless, they used their great depth and powered their way through to a big victory at home.

But the real test will come in Indiana? Will Antetokounmpo or Lillard play? So far, it's not looking good for the “Greel Freek.” Lillard has an achilies issue, which could take some time. That ultimately means he may not be available to play Game 6. Because of those factors. it also means that the team will need to shoot the ball efficiently again.

Portis and Middletown played well in Game 5. Ultimately, both found great shots to help the pace. But it didn't start that way. After falling behind in the first quarter, the Bucks managed to find their bearings in the second quarter. The Bucks thrived because they shot the ball well and forced turnovers. Additionally, they also won the board battle.

The Bucks need Lopez to play strong up front again. Remember, he must deal with Turner. That means he has to win the little battles to give the Bucks any chance of getting second-chance opportunities.

The Bucks will cover the spread if they can take better shots and find good angles on the court. Then, they need to win the board battle and get second chances while preventing the Pacers from getting any.

Why The Pacers Could Cover The Spread/Win

The Pacers had a golden opportunity to finish off the Bucks in front of their own fans. Instead, they have to come back to Indiana for a pivotal Game 6. This almost feels like a must-win game because a loss means a return to Milwaukee.

Siakam and Haliburton did not have a great game. Sadly, bad things happened when they were on the floor. Siakam had a plus/minus mark of -18, while Halburon had -14. However, Aaron Nesmith played badly, hitting the -22  mark while scoring just seven points and shooting 3 for 9. The Pacers need better production from him.

But the biggest thing that truly hurt the Pacers was their inability to shoot the basketball. Their inability caused them to blow what was already a slim lead in the second quarter, and they could never recover.

The Pacers will cover the spread if they can shoot the ball efficiently. Then, they need to play tight defense and prevent the Bucks from getting any easy shots.

Final Bucks-Pacers Game 6 Prediction & Pick

Keep an eye on the injury reports. Unfortunately, that has hindered the Bucks throughout this entire series. If Antetokounmpo and Lillard were both healthy, there is a chance the Bucks would be up 3-2, or they might have won the series by now. Unfortunately, that is not what has happened. Expect the Bucks to try and come out firing to prevent the Pacers from gaining momentum. Consequently, the Bucks will find it much more challenging to win on the road without their two best players. The Pacers win this game and cover the spread while punching their ticket to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
