The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals as they face the Orlando Magic in Game 6 on Thursday at Amway Arena. We're here to share our NBA odds series, make a Cavaliers-Magic Game 6 prediction, and pick while showing you how to watch.

The Cavaliers edged out the Magic 104-103 in Game 5 to take the 3-2 series lead. Remarkably, they pulled through over an amazing final two minutes.

The Magic led 98-97 with 1:43 left in the game when Evan Mobley finished things with an amazing dunk. Then, Paolo Banchero missed a three-point shot. The Cavs added another point when Donovan Mitchell made 1 of 2 free throws. Next, Banchero missed another chance to tie the game.

Mobley hit a layup with 42 seconds left to give the Cavs a four-point advantage. Then, Franz Wagner hit a layup to cut the deficit to 102-200. But Mobley blocked a game-tying attempt by Wagner, which gave the Cavs the possession and the chance to finish the game with two free throws.

Mitchell finished with 28 points to lead the Cavaliers. Meanwhile, Darius Garland had 23 points. Max Strus added 16 points, while Mobley eventually finished with 14 points and 13 rebounds.

Banchero led the Magic with 39 points. Also, Wagner had 14 points but also shot 3 for 11 from the floor. Jalen Suggs finished with 13 points. Likewise, Wendell Carter Jr. had seven points and 11 rebounds.

The Cavaliers shot 43.2 percent from the field, including 35.1 percent from the triples. Conversely, the Magic shot 46.2 percent from the floor, including 29 percent from beyond the arc. The Magic also barely had the board edge, winning 43 to 39. Also, they had seven blocks, compared to three from the Cavs. But the Magic also turned the ball over 14 times.

Why The Cavaliers Could Cover The Spread/Win

The Cavaliers have been a hot-and-cold team throughout this series. Coincidentally, they have played elite basketball at home and below-average basketball on the road.

Mitchell is averaging 27 points at home in this series and 15.5 on the road. Ultimately, he has to find ways to pick it up on the road to help the Cavs close this out. The Cavaliers overcame Jarrett Allen's absence. Unfortunately, he did not play in Game 5 due to a rib injury. The Cavaliers need him to play to have a legitimate chance to finish this series.

Mobley was the hero in Game 5. Overall, he has been the definition of consistent right now. Mobley has averaged 15.6 points and 10.3 rebounds per game at home while averaging 12 points and 5.5 rebounds on the road in this series. Therefore, look for Mobley to continue this consistent production. Garland has averaged 17.3 points per game at home and 9.5 on the road. Consequently, it just has not been a good series at Amway for Garland.

The Cavaliers will cover the spread if Mitchell can shoot the ball well while also cutting down on turnovers. Additionally, they need to clamp down on defense and prevent the Magic from getting hot.

Why The Magic Could Cover The Spread/Win

The Magic are feeding off the energy of their fans, similar to what the Cavs are experiencing. Somehow, they are just dominating in every aspect at home. They need to do it again to stay alive.

Wagner is shooting 65.5 percent at home and only 34.8 percent on the road. Thus, he hopes this trend continues, at least for one game, as he tries to keep the Magic alive. Banchero bounced back from a subpar performance in Game 4. Yet, he is averaging 4.75 turnovers and must cut down on the mistakes. Suggs is shooting well at home, hitting 72.2 percent from the floor while also shooting 31.4 percent on the road. Therefore, he will try and keep the magic going and hit his shots.

The Magic will cover the spread if they can springboard themselves to an early lead and shoot the ball well while feeding off the energy of their fans. Then, they need to defend the ball well and not let the Cavs get easy shooting chances.

Final Cavaliers-Magic Game 6 Prediction & Pick

The series has been up and down. Remarkably, it has also produced some of the best basketball and exciting moments. Allen may return, which could give the Cavaliers a boost. But the Magic have blown out the Cavaliers twice at home. Then, they almost stole Game 5 on the road. Look for the Magic to continue to feed off the energy of the Orlando faithful and find a way to cover the spread while sending this series back to Cleveland for Game 7.
