As the top prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft who just got drafted first overall by the Chicago Bears, Caleb Williams appears to be on track to becoming one of the future superstars in the NFL. He's a former Heisman trophy winner who finished his three-year college career with over 10,000 passing yards and 120 touchdowns.

As more people will get to know Williams once he plays in the NFL next season, we've found three facts that not a lot of people know about that could pique your interest.

Caleb Williams is a huge fan of sour Trolli gummy bears

While the theory is that professional athletes typically have to eat healthy and avoid sweets to withstand the long grind of the season, some athletes still make sure they can eat the food they enjoy. Donovan Mitchell used to eat a pack of Haribo gummy bears before he went to sleep, while Marshawn Lynch routinely ate Skittles in the middle of games during his time in the NFL.

In Williams' interview with GQ, he revealed that he always has a pack of gummy bears in his bag. His candy addiction has reached the heights of Mitchell too it seems, as he also shared that he has a candy drawer in his bedroom.

Turns out Trolli gummy bears aren't the only thing Williams can't get enough of every day, as he also frequently drinks ginger beer. Unlike his gummy bear addiction, Williams doesn't bring a bottle around with him wherever he goes. However, he does drink the beverage after every meal, and it's the first thing he'll drink the moment he gets home.

When you do the math, Williams approximately drinks at least four ginger beers every day. Surprisingly, Williams revealed that when his father first got him to drink the beverage, he hated it. But when he got a taste of Fever Tree's ginger beer, he changed his mind.

Painting his nails is a hobby Caleb Williams had since he was a kid

Growing up, Williams and his mother (Dayna Price) used nail painting as a way to bond. Over time, Williams just got used to it, and he now considers it a form of art similar to how other players get tattoos or dedicate something on their jerseys or cleats.

Williams first sparked controversy with his nail art in the 2022 Pac-12 championship game against Utah, when he had the words “F*** Utah” painted on his nails. Now that he's about to enter an even bigger spotlight, you can pretty much guarantee Williams will have more controversial nail art over the next few years.
